Major League Ultimate announced today a multi-platform advertising collaboration with BOLD Worldwide.
The Manhattan-based advertising agency specializes in sports and athletic brands with a focus on content creation and digital marketing. The announcement comes just as MLU prepares for the start of their third season, which opens when the Boston Whitecaps visit the Philadelphia Spinners on April 18.
“As a sports specific agency, we are constantly on the lookout for brands that align with our passions, and Major League Ultimate was a perfect fit,” said Brian Cristiano, CEO of BOLD Worldwide. “BOLD is focusing on the Philadelphia market for this initial launch of the Major League Ultimate advertising campaign. We wanted to connect with sports fanatics who live within driving distance of the opening game.”
“We’re also gaining a lot of valuable data from this campaign that will dictate how we run campaigns for MLU in the future,” said Cristiano.
BOLD has taken a multi-leveled approach to their campaign for MLU’s Philadelphia Spinners, employing television commercials, direct mail, digital display ads, social media and online video.
