Photo by Sean Carpenter – UltiPhotos.comInjury reports are in and if you’ve been riding Jeff Graham and the D.C. Current’s O-line you’re probably looking for some players to move into your lineup. The good news is that if Jibran Mieser and John Wodatch are on your team you’re looking pretty good for the remainder of the season. The bad news is that neither of them are playing this week because of College Regionals…sorry.MLU Injury Report: Week 3

New York Rumble

The Rumble’s Week 1 matchup was encouraging from a fantasy standpoint. Jibran was a monster and Wodatch looked like an athlete that can go get the 50/50s that fell incomplete for the Rumble last season. The only problem is that both of them aren’t playing this week. New York’s inactive list is as follows: Markian Kuzmowycz, Peter Kalmakis, Albert Alarcon, John Wodatch, Jake Herman, Ben Faust, Jibran Mieser and Tim MacGougan.Due to the long list of inactives you can feel confident in playing most of the New York roster. More points played = more fantasy points. Players who would only be seeing actions on the O/D-line are likely going to be pulling double duty.

Philadelphia Spinners

Nick Purifico is still questionable with a hamstring strain and I wouldn’t be surprised if he missed his 3rd straight game. Matt Paparone is also inactive as he misses yet another game. The biggest news is that MVP candidate Jake Rainwater will also miss this weekend’s game against New York. This means one of two things: Either Matt Glazer, Ben Scharadin and Billy Sickles step up and have massive fantasy outputs or the entire Philly offense falls apart without its key cog.

Seattle Rainmakers

Chris Rupp, Todd Sliva and Khalif El-Salaam as inactive this weekend. This is bad news for Khalif fantasy owners as he has yet to play a single game this season. This is even worse news for Rainmakers fans as the Seattle offense finally looked like they knew what they were doing with Sliva back in the lineup. Will Seattle’s offense look like it did in Week 1 where they couldn’t move the disc at all? Or will Jeff Pape, Mark Burton and Gavin McKibben step up? It’s a gamble fantasy owners are going to have to make this weekend.

Portland Stags

Steve Kenton, Kevin Minderhout, Eli Blackman and Eli Friedman are the only major inactives this weekend, so you should feel safe in continuing to ride the wave of fantasy points that most of the Stags have been recording through the first two weeks of the season.

San Francisco Dogfish

The Dogfish are in the same boat as the Rumble. A ton of fantasy contributors are inactive this week. Sam Adamson, Taylor Cascino, Drew Kim, James Pollard, Eric Rivera, Andrew Goldstein and Andrew Ouyang aren’t playing. This means added scoring outputs for Matt Kissman and Evan Boucher. Owners who drafted Boucher in the first round can’t be happy with his scoring output thus far but this weekend has the looks of a turning point. Keep your heads high Boucher owners, he’ll come good.

Vancouver Nighthawks

Matt Berezan is still out with his knee injury and Sam Creed, who was a pleasant surprise for the Nighthawks O-line last week, is also inactive. The only other inactives with fantasy implications are Nick Lin and Tierny FitzGerald. If last week was any indication of how the rest of the season is going to play out, all of the Vancouver veterans will be a staple of the offensive unit. Brendan Wong, listed as questionable this week, may not be producing goals and assists at the same rate that he was last year but Charles Eyrich and Jordan Tessarolo are more than happy to pick up the slack.
