Major League Ultimate announced today the re-launch of their Pro Gear Program.

The Pro Gear Program was founded in early 2014 with a mission to allow high school, college and club teams to outfit their teams in affordable, customized and professional-caliber gear. This year, through their partnership with Canterbury of New Zealand, the PGP is offering not only jerseys and shorts, but also expanded garment options and increased customization.

“We’re excited to pass on the benefits of the relationship we developed with Canterbury to high school, college and club teams looking for a professional on-field appearance,” said Executive Vice President Nic Darling. “We’re also very much looking forward to developing relationships with these teams and bringing more attention to ultimate at all levels.”

The PGP is an opportunity for ultimate teams of every level to get customized gear from Canterbury, a company with over a century of experience and a reputation for high quality apparel and renowned customer service.

Teams can utilize the Pro Gear Program’s online platform to choose between various Canterbury jersey and shorts designs and colors, then submit their own artwork or collaborate with an MLU design professional to formulate a design.

“I’m extremely excited to be at the forefront of Canterbury’s introduction into the ultimate apparel industry through our PGP,” said program coordinator Robert Catzen. “There is nothing quite like wearing what the pros wear, as I got to experience first hand when I ordered jerseys through this program last year. Through the PGP, the MLU was able to get my team outfitted without any headaches, which, as many ultimate players know all too well, is rarely the case.”
