It’s been exciting to watch this relationship grow over the years, with increasing levels of commitment from both sides each year. Our relationship with US Coachways is a true partnership.”MLU began working with US Coachways during their 2013 season, before naming the charter company as their official travel provider for 2015.“We are very excited about the energy created by Major League Ultimate. Last year, we received excellent digital and social traffic from our engagement with the league, so clearly MLU has done an amazing job of growing their fan base. With the explosive growth of Ultimate Frisbee at the high school and collegiate level, we believe MLU’s future continues to be bright” said Joe Heap, US Coachways Director of Marketing.Just like in 2015, US Coachways will be the official ground transportation of MLU, with exclusive rights for all team ground travel for the 2016 MLU season. The partnership was lauded by MLU’s Director of Logistics, Rebecca McClellan for the effects it had on the league’s ability to facilitate team travel easily, and with the comfort of its athletes as a priority.“The partnership with US Coachways last year made significant improvements in the MLU operations as compared to the previous non-partnered years. US Coachways committed to the partnership by offering a price match for competitor trips. This allowed our organization to confidently move forward with US Coachways as a single provider and not distribute the work to 4 or more regional carries as we did in the first few years.” said McClellan.With an extensive network of ground transportation, US Coachways can deliver any size group of people virtually anywhere in the country on a short- or long-term basis. The bus service has been able to accommodate MLU teams’ hectic weekend schedules, a significant accomplishment that McClellan praised. “US Coachways consistently went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction including accommodating our need for last minute bookings following our playoff games.”A new part of the deal in 2016, the New York Rumble jersey will be sponsored by BusRental.com, a new subsidiary of US Coachways.
