Major League Ultimate announced today a partnership with Rodu Training to provide exposure for their ultimate specific training videos.Founded in 2015 by Rob Dulabon MS, CSCS, Rodu Training is the world’s first ultimate exclusive training facility, and has quickly developed a reputation for high quality training programs specifically geared towards ultimate athletes.“Every sport has their nuances in training. Ultimate is no different.” said Dulabon, “There are a lot of different skills needed to succeed in the game, and all of them need to be taken into consideration to develop a robust training program. Model your training after another sport, and you’ll be deficient in some area. Ultimate requires a unique combination of speed, endurance, agility, and explosiveness. ”

Rodu developed out of the passion that Dulabon has for both ultimate and physical training, and takes advantage of an opportunity made possible by the recent growth in ultimate. While the physical Rodu facility is located in Pittsburgh, Pa, the gym has expanded their reach globally via a series of web-based fitness tutorials aimed at creating a training resource specific to ultimate players.“The MLU has a large and loyal audience, which can help to further the exposure of Rodu.” said Dulabon in regards to the partnership, “Although I’m no longer playing in the league, I had an excellent experience during my time with the Current and am happy to have an opportunity to provide a service for the entire organization.”The video series is the perfect opportunity for ultimate athletes at all levels to increase or focus their training with the help of a uniquely talented coach, blending the knowledge of a professional trainer and a veteran ultimate athlete. Major League Ultimate, saw Rodu as a natural partner, hoping to make high quality video training resources available to its fans, while helping to grow a young company in the ultimate community.“Keep training all year round.”, Dulabon offered as a message to ultimate athletes, “I asked a 60+ year old former Navy Seal how he stayed in such great shape. His reply – ‘never fall out of shape.’ It’s a lot easier to maintain than start from zero.”
