Did you have the Perfect 7 in MLU Fantasy this weekend?

Another week in the books, another week of leaving high performing players on your bench.

Nate Young (Dogfish) 48.20 points

Nate Young picked a wonderful time to pick up his first, second, and third block of the season. With a double header weekend, almost everyone on the Dogfish roster should have been starting for your fantasy team… Nate Young pulled double duty and scored 4 goals on the weekend to go along with his 3 blocks. I also didn’t start him this week… I did bad.

Graeme Barber (Nighthawks) 30.10 points

Welcome back to the lineup Mr. Barber. After missing the Nighthawks last matchup, Barber returned to the lineup just in time to help the Nighthawks win their first game of the season. His 5 assists in their double overtime thriller would have been enough to get him on our list. His 2 blocks are just gravy.

Andrew Goldstein (Dogfish) 29.70 points

Just like Nate Young, Goldstein benefited from having two games this weekend. Although many Dogfish fans would like to forget that, Goldstein was able to be a productive during the team’s two losses. On the weekend he ended up with 4 goals and 5 assists.

Timmy Perston (Stags) 30.20 points

Timmy Perston just can’t stop scoring goals. This was his second straight week with 5 goals. While a poor period of play in the second quarter prevented the Stags from becoming the first ever western conference team to win a game against the east, Timmy just kept on trucking. The league leader in goals doesn’t seem to be in immediate danger of losing that spot this season.

Taylor Nadon (Nighthawks) 28.65 points

Taylor Nadon was just another Nighthawk to come up HUGE in their win against the Dogfish. Week in and week out Nadon continues to a rock for the Nighthawks. He normally isn’t one to record blocks but was able to get two this weekend to go along with his 4 goals.

Erik Hunter (Nighthawks) 37.10 points

I’ve already gone on record saying that Sascha Lo is my favorite Nighthawk… Erik Hunter is a close second. Just another day at the office for the 3rd leading scorer in MLU. Hunter added a goal and 3 assists. Bringing his season total to 31 points (G+A) Oh did I mention he also had 3 blocks? No big deal.

Christian Foster (Whitecaps) 35.95 points

Christian Foster must have been listening to his angry fantasy owners. After exploding for 5 blocks in the first game of the season. He’s only recorded a single block in the 3 games leading up to last weekend. All 3 of his blocks should be in contention for defensive play of the week. Add in 2 goals and one of the prettiest blade I’ve seen all season for an assist.

Who to Pick up?

With only 2 games this weekend and the list of players to pick up shrinking every week. I’ve still managed to find a few players who might still be available in your league.

Todd Sliva (Rainmakers)

He’s back! If Sliva is going to be playing every single one of the remaining games on the Rainmakers schedule then he’s a top 20 fantasy player. If someone dropped him early on this year, go pick him up now.

Dylan Harrington (Rainmakers)

In 2 games this season Harrington has 5 goals and 3 blocks. They won’t be blowing out the Dogfish every week but he’s still worth a shot down the stretch.
