Major League Ultimate released the first installment of their new video series today. MLU Rewind offers a look back at many of the best games from the past four years of MLU action.

The new series takes a look back at some of the most memorable games from the first four years of Major League Ultimate action, highlighting the key moments and plays that kept fans on the edge of their seats.

“We are hoping to give fans an opportunity to relive all the excitement of these games, but in a fraction of the time,” said Greg Fallon, the MLU Films producer behind the series. Each episode will cut the game down to between 3-5 minutes, focusing on spectacular plays and the game altering moments.

For the first installment, Fallon chose to look back to Week 2 of the 2014 season, as the Washington D.C. Current handed the Boston Whitecaps their first loss in franchise history.

“We chose to start with the Hail Mary Hammer because of all the incredible story lines that were involved,” said Fallon. “Peter Prial’s first game against Boston, Boston’s first loss ever, and one of the most incredible finishes that pro ultimate has produced so far.  It was a perfect candidate.”
