UNC Wilmington took home the men’s crown at the Classic City Classic, topping Virginia Tech 16-14. Georgia Tech walked away with a victory in the women’s tournament, beating Kennesaw State 15-5 in the finals. Carleton men and the Colorado Women won Missouri Loves Company and Texas Melee won Shootout with a win over Hydra.

Philadelphia Spinners Re-Sign First Players for 2017

The Philadelphia Spinners continue to make news this offseason. Last week they announced that they re-signed four players from their 2016 Championship team. Dave Baer, Gabe Colton, Himalaya Mehta and Billy Sickles will return to defend their title in 2017.

Anniversary Of the First Ever College Ultimate Game

According to Sludge, November 6th was the 44th Anniversary of first ever college ultimate game. In 1972, Rutgers and Princeton played on a parking lot at Columbia High School in N.J. Rutgers bested Princeton by two points.
