The Professional Disc Golf Association and Innova Discs will present the $10,000 Toss, a chance for fans to make a disc golf hole in one for $10,000 on Saturday, July 19, at the MLU Championship Game.

“The PDGA is very excited to partner with Major League Ultimate for this special occasion,” said Brian Graham, President of the PDGA. “We believe the exposure the championship game is giving to disc sports is fantastic and we’re happy to join the league for this part of the event.”

Ten contestants will be chosen at random from a pool of qualified individuals. The finalists will have one chance to throw an Innova disc golf disc at an Innova basket 50 yards away during halftime at PPL Park.

In order to participate in the challenge, contestants must purchase three qualifying attempts for $5.00 at the MLU Fan Zone tailgate section beginning at 2:00 p.m. Participants will receive one (1) raffle ticket for each attempt that lands in the qualification range. That ticket enters them in a drawing to be one of the 10 contestants to attempt the $10,000 Toss at halftime. Fans can enter as many times as they like but are only eligible for one halftime throw.

If no contestant makes the throw, the closest to the pin will get to take home the disc golf basket. If the $10,000 Toss is completed, the basket will go to the person with the next closest throw as the consolation prize.

“Innova has been a huge supporter of the league from the get-go, and they has worked with the PGDA for years. Making this happen only seemed natural,” said MLU Executive Vice President Nic Darling. “We hope this brings out the disc golf crowd, and good luck to everyone who enters.”

The $10,000 Toss is one of many events at the MLU Championship at PPL Park, a weekend full of entertainment, family fun and ultimate frisbee’s biggest game of the season.

PDGA pros are ineligible for this contest.

What type of disc is it? Please say an Atlas. If it’s an Atlas, I may drive 7 hours to come try.

I am willing and able to blow away any other Pro Disc Golf Professional at this competition. Just give a unknown a chance and I may shock you and the world. I’m kind of a beast when it comes to out driving most pro’s with my stand still drives let a loan being able to make my disc fly exactly where I want too, at great distances. Please test me! I want to show the world what I have to offer.
