For the 2015 season, four players each week are awarded the US Coachways Offensive Play of the Week, the Innova Pulsar Throw of the Week, the Friction Gloves Catch of the Week and the Defensive Play of the Week.

US Coachways Offensive Play of the Week

Charles Eyrich and Sam Creed | Vancouver Nighthawks

On this rapid offensive sequence that begins with a smooth backhand from Morgan Hibbert, Charles Eyrich leads Sam Creed a bit too far, allowing Creed to make a layout catch with the tips of his fingers. Creed then sends a poor throw for Eyrich to tip forward and grab for the goal. That’s ultimate: unpredictable, amazing and redeeming in one point.

Innova Pulsar Throw of the Week

Ben McGinn and Cody Bjorklund | Portland Stags

While Perston gets the goal in both plays, McGinn and Bjorklund get all the credit for putting perfect outside-in forehands to the wide open receiver.

Friction Gloves Catch of the Week

Brent Bellinger | D.C. Current

Bellinger not only stays in-bounds, but he uses his right hand to snag the disc as it afforded him the split second of extra time before hitting the ground. Another intelligent, athletic play from Bellinger.

Defensive Play of the Week

John Wodatch | New York Rumble

In the Rumble’s best game of the year, John Wodatch makes the Spinners pay for a bad pass with a layout Callahan. Wodatch was a big reason why the Rumble were able to spoil Philadelphia’s early chance at the playoffs.
