Like most sports, ultimate frisbee has a unique terminology to describe the multitude of throws and plays that can happen in a single game.This beloved lingo has been developed by players over the past five decades, but it can be downright confusing for players new to the sport.Each week, MLU vice president Nic Darling will attempt to demystify these terms using game footage from the second season of Major League Ultimate.In Episode 12, Nic pulls apart the start to every ultimate frisbee point, the pull, with a great example from the Philadelphia Spinners.
